Lily Allen’s wedding preparations
Friday 15 April 2011Lily Allen will celebrate her marriage to fiancé Sam Cooper on June 11. Initially, she wanted a small and intimate ceremony, but the couple has decided they don’t want any expense spared for the big day.
The singer’s wedding dress is being created by Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld. A source close to the star said: "I think the wedding dress itself is going to cost a small fortune. And her sisters, Teddy and Sarah, who are bridesmaids, are getting Chanel dresses too. It's gone from a small intimate family do with close friends, to something huge."
The insider also added: "Lily is obviously thrilled about marrying Sam. I'd say he's the love of her life and, of course, she'll want the day itself to be perfect. She's staying up all night, writing lists and other details."
