Naomi Campbell’s Russian New Year
Thursday 31 December 2009Supermodel Naomi Campbell will make an appearance on Russian state television to wish viewers a Happy New Year. The British model, who has a Russian boyfriend, will be the guest of the New Year’s Eve show.
In the show’s trailer, Naomi is wearing a silver sequinned dress and she is sitting next to her boyfriend, businessman Vladislav Doronin. Svetlana Doronina, spokeswoman for the show, did not reveal whether the model will speak Russian on the show.
The other international guests will include French actor Alain Delon and Greek pop star Demis Roussos, very popular in Russia.

This list proves that there is a shift in the people’s perception of what is attractive because women now aspire to have a healthy body shape. Kate Winslet is one of the celebrities that has always spoken out about the importance of accepting your body and leading a healthy life.
In second spot came Kelly Brook with 15 per cent, followed by former Bond girl Halle Berry. The top five was rounded up by Cheryl Cole on the fourth position and Beyonce on the fifth place.

Steve Jebson, commercial director for Superdrug, who comissioned the research, said: ''Angelina Jolie is not a conventional beauty but her strong character shines through her fabulous features to give her a unique standing in the beauty world.''
The second place went to Jennifer Aniston, while Australian pop princess Kylie Minogue came third, followed by Welsh actress Catherine Zeta Jones. Cheryl Cole, UK’s new sweet heart, came fifth.

Monday 28 December 2009Usher has always had his unique fashion sense. The R&B singer describes his style as "flashy classy" as he is moving between three-piece banker suits and leather jackets. He has an admiration for designers such as Rick Owens, Marc Jacobs and Kris Van Assche.
Although, for the moment, the star is not launching his own fashion label, he is currently promoting his new perfume, "Usher VIP", a follow-up to "Usher He", which ranked in the top 40 of men's prestige fragrance sales this year.
Usher said: "I'm building a lifestyle brand and I'm not rushing to do clothes. I feel like I'm speaking to my customer now with the fragrances, and with my style and attention to detail... It's not the right time."
